MarleneLEWISPeacefully on Monday 21st February 2022 at Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen following a long illness she has borne with wonderful courage and dignity, Marlene aged 87 years of Parc Tyisha, Burry Port, sadly passed away. The loving and devoted wife of the late Ray, dearly loved and very proud mum of Emma, sadly missed by all her family and many friends. Funeral on Friday 18th March 2022, service at St Mary's Church, Burry Port at 12.15pm followed by a cremation service at Llanelli Crematorium at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please, but donations in Marlene's memory, if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support c/o Funeral Director Ian M Smith of Autumn Leaf Independent Family Funeral Directors, The Old Vestry Tabernacle, Seaview Terrace, Burry Port, Carms, SA16 0EN. Marlene was a much loved member of the family, a devoted wife and mother. She had a great sense of humour and an indomitable, cheerful personality. Her illness showed her ability to be stoic and yet remain positive - a shining example to us all. She will be greatly missed
